Heart card virtues
Baldwin Scholars are expected to practice Heart Card virtues everyday. Our students are empowered to govern their own behavior through our integration of HEARt CARD virtues. Instead of external discipline we are creating an environment where students are reflective and are internally monitoring their choices as they use the 7 core virtues to guide them:
"Take care of your heart, for out of it comes everything you need."
Order means we have our flow!
Harmony means we are all connected! Justice means being fair! Truth means we speak and live the truth! Balance means keeping your heart light! Propriety is letting your light shine! Righteousness is doing what is right! "When I hear what's in my heart, I make my world good and just!"
