At Baldwin Hills Elementary Pilot & Gifted Magnet School we value our parents as partners and recognize how important they are to the success of their child's education. The Parent & Family Center is a critical and essential resource at Baldwin Hills! It's a place where parents can learn about curriculum, community resources, communications with teachers and staff, and other ways to support their children's learning at home and school.

Meet our Director

​Jheri Murdock is the Parent & Family Center Director and President of The Friends of Baldwin Hills Booster Club. She has been a part of the Baldwin Hills community since 1970. She is a Baldwin Hills’ Alumnus (1970-1975), served as a parent volunteer while both of her daughters attended the school from 2001-2007, and served on numerous school and local district governance councils. Ms. Murdock is the recipient of several LAUSD Volunteer Service Awards. She is dedicated to the success of all students and provides the necessary support to all stakeholders.
