How is the PTO different from the Booster Club?
PTOs and booster clubs are organizations that are separate legal entities from the District. In addition to the PTO, a school may have a Booster Club. A Booster Club is considered to be a separate entity from the school. The student body may work cooperatively with the PTO for fund-raising efforts, however, the student body may not participate in fund-raising activities with the Booster Club.
