"Boxtops For Education" Update!!!

We are on our way to reaching our goal of $779! To date, we have earned $558.50. Continue clipping box tops from your favorite products (Ziploc, Hefty, Avery, Kleenex, Pillsbury, Betty Crocker, etc.) and bring them to the Parent Center. Earn a cool prize each time you turn in at least 10 box tops. Thank you!!

 All students will be now be dismissed at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesdays. Please make arrangements to pick up your children on time.

Student Lunches!!

Please arrange for your child to bring their lunch and/or money to school with them each morning. We are having a large number of parents bringing lunches to the office on a daily basis. This causes disruption to the instructional program. I am also asking parents to provide a healthy lunch. Please do not bring fast food, with soda (McDonalds, Burger King, etc.) to school for children to eat. We ask that parents send lunch with students in the morning. We appreciate your cooperation.

Be on time!!!

School begins at 8:05 a.m. All gates close promptly at 8:05 a.m. Any students arriving after 8:05 will need to check in through the front office. At the back gate, no students will be allowed to enter after 8:05 a.m. There will be no exceptions. Please arrive early to make sure your child is on time.

Due to a budget deficit, the LAUSD had to make some changes to our school calendar for this school year. The school year will be shortened by 3 days, which means the last day of school will be Tuesday, June 19, 2012. Please make sure you mark your calendars for this date change.

Breakfast/Lunch Menu

Just click here to see what's on the menu for a great, nutritional meal every day of the week. 
We are asking all students that bring snacks to school to please bring a healthy snack to eat at recess. Healthy snack suggestions are fresh fruit, fruit cup, raisins, granola bars, juice, carrot sticks, celery, nuts, etc. Please do not allow your child to bring hot chips, gum, candy, or soda for snack. These are not foods on the LAUSD list of healthy foods.
